The tactics being used are harmful to the user’s ability to properly defend themselves. I caution the flashy uniforms and verbiage being used. This is not a credible company. I have worked with other trainers who could properly trains civilians to defend themselves. This is not one of them. As an infantry veteran and constant student of defense, I feel like it should be said that this is false advertisement and can get someone hurt. This comes from personal experience and a place of caution to others considering personal defense.

My experiences at Detroit DUST have been amazing. I have always been passionate about Personal Protection and have always looked to be a seeker of knowledge. That is exactly what they have to offer! There is a lot of years of experience with some very extraordinary and friendly people who are happy to work with anyone. Each time I've come to train, I have learned something new and can apply it to what I do as an Instructor and also to my every day life as this type of training can most certainly save lives! The facility itself is very clean and comfortable! Go check them out and learn something new that could save your life one day!

Dale taught me how to do the do the spin o Rama while an assailant has a weapon to my back. I never thought I would need this skill in my arsenal but on April 15 in the Peterson house I was able to utilize that move and now I’m able to live out a childhood dream of pretending to be a dolphin as I have a gapping hole in my back.

DUST offers the most effective self-defense training I have found. If you don't want to spend years in a studio learning how to punch and kick, and want to quickly learn how to handle real-life situations that happen on the street, this is the place for you. They were teaching me tactics to deal with gun and knife threats on Day 1 along with how to assess potential threats and respond accordingly. After just a few months, I became much more confident because so many of my questions and fears were addressed. These people are incredibly passionate about sharing their knowledge and furthering their mission. I wish I'd found them years ago! I can’t think of a single type of person who wouldn’t benefit from this training.

The dude has no idea what he is doing.... This guy is a troll its all a scam. If you follow what this guy is teaching you, you have a high chance of losing your life use these "techniques" at your own risk. Do some research loads of people have exposed how these classes and skills are not safe.

This team is passionate and committed to empowerment. They came to Huntington Bank and facilitated a class free of charge, for our women’s network members! They were very professional, educational, and fun! It was a great session that all the women attending enjoyed! Thank you and great job!

5 stars for D.U.S.T. The staff really cares about the mission of the organization👍👍. They also made my whole family feel empowered and confident in their own abilities. I encourage anyone to go up there especially families with kids. My family was about to learn some form of martial arts like boxing. But after taking them here we all agreed this is much better for real life scenarios. So now we attend twice a week as a family. Kids and the wife love it and can't wait till our next session. Thank you for such an amazing resource.
